MH started the way most good trade businesses do: one tiler, a van, and a reputation that spread by word of mouth around Tipperary. As the jobs grew from tiling into full bathrooms, we kept the same rule we started with. Do the whole room ourselves, do it properly, and leave it clean.
Because we only do bathrooms, we have solved the awkward corners, the out-of-square walls and the tricky drainage runs many times before. That experience shows in the finish, and in how smoothly the job runs while we are in your home.

We turn up
When we give you a start date, that is the day we start. When we are on your job, we are on your job, not splitting the week between three sites.
We tell you straight
If a tile will not work in your room, or an idea will blow the budget, we say so before it is ordered. Honest advice saves everyone money.
We finish properly
Mitred corners, level floors, straight grout lines and clean silicone. The last five percent of a bathroom is where most of the quality lives.
What happens, and when.
A bathroom renovation has a lot of moving parts. This is how we keep them in order so that you always know what is happening next.
We’d rather do fewer bathrooms and do each one properly than rush three at once.

We measure up, talk through what you want and what the room allows, then send a written quote itemising what is included.
Design and ordering
Tiles, sanitaryware, furniture and brassware chosen and ordered. Lead times are checked so nothing holds up the start date.
Strip-out and first-fix
Old bathroom removed and skipped. Pipework and cabling moved to suit the new layout. Walls boarded and floor levelled.
Tanking and tiling
Wet areas tanked, then walls and floors tiled. Niches, mitres and trims are built in as we go, not bolted on afterwards.
Fitting and finishing
Shower, bath, WC, vanity, mirror and rail fitted. Grouting, silicone, electrics commissioned and tested.
Clean and handover
Deep clean, a walk-through with you, and a note of how to look after the finishes. We come back if anything needs attention.
